The Sage Handbook of Electoral Behaviour, contains a contribution of the role of relgion in shaping electoral behaviour, authored by Sigrid Roßteutscher and me is now available from Sage Publications.
It is edited by Kai Arzheimer, Jocelyn Evans, and Michael S. Lewis-Back and contains overview chapters on the relevant topics and subfields of electoral research. Sigrid Roßteutscher and I had the opportinity to contribute a chapter on the role of religion in shaping electoral behaviour. Go check it out or ask your librarian to acquire it.
